General

-------------------

1. Why should I buy from you?

Well I could give you many reasons why but I won't go into that. ^_^ We could talk on all day about how we are the best company around but that's only us speaking. We'll be posting up actual customer emails for you all to read so you can see for yourself from an actual customer of ours. ^_^

2. Do you publish a printed catalog?

The answer to this is no. We never have and probably never will. It's too costly to do such a thing and therefore we would not be able to keep our prices low for you all.

3. Do you offer discounts for Anime clubs, groups, etc..?

Yes we do! All you have to do is contact us about the product(s) your wanting and how many. We will then reply back with the total amount including shipping. If the price is right with you than we will ask that you continue the order through our store we will give you a discount coupon code for redemption at check out. ^_^

4. Do you do special orders?

Yes we do! If you do not see a product that your looking for in our store, just use our Contact Us Form and we will reply back if we are able to get the product or not. 99% of the time we are able to get a special order product weather it be a Manga book, Anime DVD, Wall Scroll, Key Chain, Hentai DVD, or anything anime related. Do keep in mind that specail order items are non-returnable and non-refundable. ^_^

5. Do you have a retail store or just sell online?

Currently we only sell online. There is not much of an anime market here in Charlotte, NC for us to open up a retail store just yet. Charlotte is growing at a fast pace so do keep a look out for a future anime store. But for now we will stick to the interwebs. ^_^

About Our Products

-------------------------------------------------

1. Are your anime titles uncut or cut?

This is a question we receive alot. Unless its stated otherwise in the listing, the dvd's we sell are uncut. Uncut is when the dvd contains stuff they wouldn't normally show on television. Cut is when it edits out the naughty bits or violent activities or such of the show. =3

2. What is a dub? (Dubbed)

A dub (or dubbed show) is an anime that has had its original Japanese voices taken out and replaced with English voices. They do that here in the US for us Japanese impaired. ^_^

4. I pre-ordered an item and it still has not arrived, What happened?

This is a commonly asked question. Sometimes with pre-orders they are held back past the arrival date for some reason (only the wholesaler knows this). We will notify you if any changes have been made to your pre-order. If the pre-order has been canceled for any reason your money will be refunded or your account will be credited for the amount of the pre-order. We highly suggest you do not pay for your pre-order until its arrival date. Unless your order exceeds $400. Then we will ask that you pay 10% of the $400+. Our pre-order policy is located here

5. How do I know your products are legit?

This is a suprisingly highly asked question as of lately. Our products are 100% licensed material. We severly frown upon any boot legged products out on the market today. It takes away from the anime artists as well as the consumer. Our products contain the company emblems of Bandai, Good Smile Company, Kotobukiya, Griffon, Viz, Tokyo Pop, and other such well known company's.  Never will you see anything that is an off or not well known name. Our wholesaler supplies stores such as RAC, Anime Castle, Toylet, etc.. so you know our items are legit.

2. I heard you have giveaways?

Yes we do! To show our appretiation to all of you wonderful people, we do have monthly giveaways at times. It's usually to those that make a purchase in the month of the contest. So far we have had several winners. Like Christopher from Ohio who won the Haruhi Suzumiya Summer School Figma. ^_^

Site Mascot

----------------

1. Where did you get the idea for your site mascot?! She's so cute!

This is a good question. Our store name is Otaku Mitsukai, Mitsukai meaning angel. We played around with a couple ideas and came up with her. Her name is Chizumi and is age 18 (A bit underdeveloped but thats what'll make the comic of her so entertaining ~_^).  And Otaku is a Japanese slang word for someone who has a passion for something. There are train otaku, anime otaku, idol otaku, computer otaku, pretty much an otaku for everything. Its a person with a passion for thier hobby. ^_^ We here at Otaku Mitsukai are all around Otaku.
